No contact form, no ticket number, no “we value your enquiry”. Three addresses and a small team that reads them.
Something is broken, or you need help
support@abccount.comAccount problems, a tool behaving oddly, a mode that is not doing what it should. Include which browser or app you were using — it is usually the first thing we need to know.
Plans, billing and team access
sales@abccount.comUpgrades, invoices, a charge you do not recognise, or setting up a workspace for a firm. If you think you have been charged twice, send both charges and do not cancel either subscription first.
Privacy, legal, press and everything else
admin@abccount.comData requests, a data processing agreement, questions about what happens to text you send us, press enquiries — and disagreements with something written on this site, which get read first.
A person reads it. ABCcount is built and run by a small team, not a venture-funded company with a support department, and that cuts both ways — you will not get a canned reply, and you might wait a day or two if we are shipping something.
If it is urgent and commercial, use the sales address. If it is urgent and legal, use admin. Both are watched more closely than support.
Reporting a bug with details attached
The bug report form captures what we need automatically, which saves a round trip.

The documentation covers every tool, what people get wrong with each, and the five problems that generate most of our support mail.

Trust and securityABCcount is made by a small team based in Houston, Texas. It started as a free word counter and grew into a writing toolkit, and a separate product — ABCcount Teams — for firms whose documents have consequences.
More on how it started and what it is for is on the about page.
